December 7th- Tucker wins Winners Dog, & Best of Winners at Brantford & District Kennel
& Obedience Club under judge Mary White (Can).
December 6th- Tucker wins Winners Dog and Best Puppy in Breed, but there was no
competion, which means no points. The show was Brantford & District Kennel & Obedience Club,
under judge Wendy Paquette (Can).
November 30th - Tucker wins Winners Dog and Best of Winners for another 2 points and
Jenga wins Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite for 1 point at Caledon Kennel Association under
judge Dr Robert Smith (USA)
November 29th- Coco wins Reserve Winners Bitch at Calgary Kennel & Obedience Club undge
judge John Rowton (USA).
Tucker wins Winners Dog and Best of Winners for his first 2 points and Jenga was Reserve

National for 2 points, under Paula Nykiel (USA).
November 16th- Jimmie wins Best of Winners, Best of Breed and a Group 3rd, he is now a new
champion!! And Beezie won Winners Bitch at Kent Kennel Club under Lynda Starbuck.
November 15th- Beezie wins Winners Bitch and is a new champion at 7.5 months old!!! The
show was Kent Kennel Club, under a hound breeder judge Ed Wild (Canada).
November 14th- Jenga wins Winners Bitch and Best of Breed for 2 points at Kent Kennel Club
under a hound breeder judge, Virginia Lyne (Canada).
November 8th- Charlie competed in his first AKC show. He won Winners Dog and Best of
Winners for 2 points. The show Kalamazoo Kennel Club in Michigan. And the judge was Mr.

October 19th- Beezie wins Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, & Best Puppy in Group for 3
points at London Canine Association. The judge was James White (USA)
October 18th- Jimmie wins Winners Dog, and Best of Winners for 3 points at London Canine
Association. Under a fellow hound breeder, Betty McHugh (Canada).
October 17th- Beezie wins her first 2 points by going Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best
Puppy in Group at London Canine Association. Under a fellow hound breeder, Dr. Richard Meen
(Canada)
October 4th & 5th - Tannin and his owner Tara, went to Moncton this weekend to trial in their
third CKC Agilty event ever...he came away with his Novice Jumpers with weaves title and a second
leg towards his Intermediate Agility title...one more to go!!
September 28th- Lola picks up a Group 1st over some of Canada's top hounds at Miramichi
Kennel Club. The judge was Avery Gaudin (Canada), a fellow hound breeder.
September 22nd-25th- We attended the 77th RRCUS national specialty show, in historic
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. We had tons of fun, socializing with people that we only see at these
specialty shows and plus meeting new people. It was great to see the dogs in person that we've only
seen in pictures. On Monday Jimmie, Jenga and Ella were shown in sweeps, Ella made the cut out
of a class of 18. Under breeder/judge William Kent (USA). On Tuesday, we decided that Mickey
wasn't ready to be in his first show, but we completely missed Jimmie's class, due to the fact that the
judge was judging so fast. On Wednesday it was the girls day. Beezie did a good job at her first
show, but since she didn't want to stand for longer than 4 seconds at a time, the judge couldn't get a
good look at her. But her sister Jenga made the cut from a class of 23 with her owner, Jody. Ella was
shown by Leah in the 12-18th month class, they made the cut from 28 bitches!! The judge was Jon
Cole (USA). We also received a lot of great compliments about our dogs and puppies from other
exhibitors. We had an exciting week, and can't wait until May for the next specialty show in Michigan.
September 20th- Charlie wins a Group 1st over some of Canada's top hounds, and he was owner
handled!! The show was Sudbury & District Kennel Club under Donna Cole (Canada). And he
placed 3rd at the Purina Puppy Classic.
September 14th- Lola wins 2 more Group 3rd's at Pictou County Kennel Club Inc. under David
Eadie (Canada) & Charles Hunt (Canada).
September 13th- Lola wins a Group 3rd at Pictou County Kennel Club Inc. under Judith Hunt
(Canada).
August 30th- Lola wins Best of Breed and a Group 2nd at Halifax Kennel Club, the judge was
Michelle Billings (USA).
August 16th- Jimmie wins Winners Dog for 2 points and Ella wins Winners Bitch, Best of
Winners, and Best Bred by Exhibitor in Group!! And is a champion! The show was
St. Catherines Kennel Club under breeder - judge Dianne Miller (Canada).
August 8th, 9th, 10th- Tannin competed for the first time at the 2008 AAC nationals in New
Brunswick. He placed in the top 10 (2-8th place and 1-9th) for 3 of his runs, bringing home some
huge rosettes. Overall he placed 19th. He is the first Ridgeback to compete and place at the AAC
Nationals!!
June 29th- Lola wins a Group 4th at the Evangeline Kennel Club. Judge: Phyllis Wolfish (Canada)
June 28th- Lola wins a Group 2nd at the Evangeline Kennel Club. Judge: Deirdre McKinnon

June 8 - Lola picks up a Group 4th at Oromocto Kennel Club in New Brunswick. The judge was
Michael Hill (Canada).
May 18th- Lola wins a Group 2nd at Tantramar Kennel Club. Judge was Charles Cyopik (Canada).
Jimmie wins Winners Dog and Charlie wins Best of Breed at K-W Kennel Club. Judge: Nancy
Popovich (Canada).
May 17th- Lola wins two Group 3rd's at Tantramar Kennel Club. The judges were Virginia Lyne
(Canada) and Donald Wallace (Canada).
Also Ella won Winners Bitch and Charlie won Best of Breed at K-W Kennel Club.
Judge: Charles Olvis (USA).
May 11th- Lola wins a Group 2nd at her first and only FCI show. The judge was Chan Weng Who
(Malaysia). His comments on Lola were that she is a medium strong bitch, very good quality, head
could be stronger, good topline, moved correctly, and she is excellent.
April 13th- Charlie wins a Group 4th at Kent Kennel Klub. Judge: Rita Walker (Canada)
April 11th- Charlie wins a Group 2nd at Kent Kennel Klub!! Judge: Thomas Touzel (Canada)
March 28th- Charlie wins a Group 4th and a Best Puppy in Group at the Nickel District Kennel
Club!! Judge: Javier Ramirez (Mexico)
March 27th- Charlie wins a Best Puppy in Show and a Group 2nd at the first show and at the
second show that day he won a Best Puppy in Group and a Group 1st at the Nickel District
Kennel Club!!!!! Breed/Group Judges: Joy Hodgkinson (Canada) and Phyllis Wolfish (Canada), Best
Puppy in Show Judge: Len Harfield (Canada)
